When you get everything you can out of this site…peep these:
New Style, House, Funkstyle, and B-Boying vids from around the world.
Dope forum and pretty decent video selection. Mad tutorials.
Floasis.net:
Focuses on Liquid Popping, but the forum members have some interesting things to say about movement in general.
Dynasty Rockers.com:
Good starting point in the quest for information about “Rocking”. If you don’t know about B-Boying’s back-story or you don’t know the difference between “Uprocking” and “Toprocking”, then get hip. Here.
Funk Styler.com:
Funk-Style video resource. No forum. No blog. Straight videos, youngsters.
House Dancer.com:
Maaaaaaaaad information and content about housedancing. Pretty extensive.
Dance Masterz.net:
Up-to-Date video blog for Street-Dancers. Wanna be on? This spot’ll put you there.
Big love to the local heads:
Indiana University Breakdance Club:
They host about 3 practices a week that are open to anyone. They also generally cooperate with their local Hip-Hop Congress chapter in throwing organized battles at least once a year.
Boiler Breakers:
This is the website for Purdue University Breakdance Club. I don’t really know anything about this Club. I think that they are a fairly new(1-2 years old) organization. On the website they claim that the 4 weekly practices they hold are open to anyone. I approve.
Fort Wayne Hip-Hop Dance:
The website isn’t up yet. There is a front page politely telling us to wait a little bit longer. Pure Class. On the really real, these heads are essentially the most experienced dancers within their genres in Indiana. They opened up shop and now it’s 2 years strong. Take note. Teaching the next gen is what’s up.
Chicago Tribe’s Bulletin Board:
Being that Chicago Tribe is obviously not an Indiana crew, this link is definitely an exception. They do have board devoted to Indiana B-boys. And I’m pretty sure it’s older than any board we’ve ever had for ourselves. Big Love.
