Speaking of music…I have approached probably about 10 DJ’s on the subject of making mixes for me to put up on on the site over the last 3 or 4 months. So far I have no sets to show for my inquiries. I’ll restate the proposal. Here’s the Scam: I want local DJ’s and Producers to donate recorded sets/demos and self-produced tracks. Instrumental Sets/Tracks are preferred but the main prerequisite is that all content be good to dance to. I will place the tracks in an online file storage server then I will link to them through the site so people can download them. Noone will receive payment for the distribution of said content so you better be feeling charitable and probably should slap a Creative Commons license on your work. In return for giving us your tracks, I will personally build a special profile with a short bio, a list of your club residencies, and info on upcoming events compiled from info you provide me. Essentially the website gets content and you get exposure(and possibly more dancers at your events). Nobody loses here. Do the math. 4. Jazzed up the colors a little bit.
